Rachel Andree Design is a boutique interior design studio based in Austin, Texas, founded on the conviction that a well-designed space is not a luxury - it is a kind of clarity.
The studio approaches every project as a study in intentionality: how a room functions, how it feels to move through it, how it reflects the person who lives there. The result is always layered, always considered, and always entirely specific to its client.
About Rachel
Rachel Andree brings an uncommon mix of backgrounds to interior design — fashion, law, and a lifelong eye trained on detail.
She started in visual merchandising and design management at Free People, building installations and retail environments with intention. She studied journalism and Italian at the University of Kansas, spent years moving between cities, and paid close attention to all of it.
Rachel then attended law school at UT Austin. Six years of practice didn't pull her from design — it sharpened her. She learned what it means to commit to a decision and make it hold.
When she returned to design full-time, she approached it the same way: rigorously, with no shortcuts. She enrolled in the Interior Design Institute and launched Rachel Andree Design in 2025.
The studio is small by choice. Rachel works directly with every client from the first conversation to the final installation — no handoffs, no intermediaries. That's not a limitation. It's how good work gets done.
Studio Values
Intention over impulseEvery choice - a finish, a fabric, a scale of furniture - earns its place. Beautiful spaces are rarely accidental.
trust the foundationThe best design relationships are the ones where a client gives genuine latitude and receives something they could not have imagined on their own. That dynamic is something Rachel works to cultivate from the first meeting.
layers take timeThe most extraordinary rooms are not decorated in a single pass. They accumulate - through finds, through experience, through returning to a space and knowing it better. Rachel designs for the long view.
life over perfectionThe goal is never a room that photographs well. The goal is a room worth living in - one that holds dinner parties, children, quiet mornings, spontaneous guests, and every ordinary moment in between.
